Working and learning together

At Sarisbury, relationships learning is a core element of our teaching, culture and sense of community. With our focus on Rights Respecting and Restorative Schools, children at SJS are given every opportunity to develop key life skills that encourage acceptance, tolerance and empathy for others. To support children’s learning further, we have invested in the personal development programme ‘Jigsaw’ which compliments and supports the Government’s new Relationships, Sex, and Health Education Framework (RSHE). We have adapted the Jigsaw framework for RSHE and have made what we feel are appropriate changes to the ‘Changing Me’ unit of work.
