The school day begins at 8.45am and closes at 3:30pm. As teachers take registers immediately, if your child is late into school, it is important that he/she goes straight to the school office so that registers can be amended.
Would parents please note that there can be a great deal of traffic congestion before and after school. To enable parents to stagger journey times, the playground is supervised from 8:30am. In addition, there is a bus service that serves the Sarisbury Schools for parents seeking alternative travel arrangements. We are also able to issue cycle permits for those that wish to cycle with their child; further details about these are available from the school office.
If your child is unwell then please try to let us know as soon as possible. This can be done either by phone or e-mail. If you are unable to let us know on the days that your child is absent, then please send a note to your child?s classteacher on the day of his/her return.
Absence request forms are available from the school reception area for planned absences. Authorised absences for holiday can be approved, at the headteacher's discretion, for a maximum of 10 days per school year. Please note that these cannot be authorised unless a reason has been given on the form. However, in the interests of pupils' learning, parents are encouraged to keep absence requests to a minimum.
